Two days of nature, exploration, and discovery to learn how to observe wetlands with new eyes. The workshop "Life in Wetlands" is the first ConserMotion workshop dedicated to amphibians, peatlands, and wetland ecosystems, bringing together both experienced and new Citizen Scientists through outdoor experiences.
During the workshop, participants will discover how hiking and outdoor activities can become tools for ecological observation and conservation. They will learn to recognize amphibian species and wetland plants, identify habitats and ecological indicators, use digital apps to collect environmental data, and monitor research tools.
The first day will focus on meetings with researchers, an introduction to wetland and peatland ecology, and practical training on scientific observation methods and instruments.
