About Us
Our Story
Among the silent mountains of Chamois, a simple yet powerful idea has taken shape: that moving and observing can become acts of care — for the landscape and for ourselves.
ConserMotion was born from the vision of Sofia Bonicalza, IOC Young Leader 2025–2028, with the goal of uniting sport, science, and community to protect nature. After years as an athlete and training in conservation biology, Sofia chose to transform movement into a tool for knowledge and care, bringing science out of the labs and onto the trails of the alpine village where her passion for the mountains was born and nurtured.
Today, in Chamois, a new conscious community is emerging, driven by the desire to move for nature. It is a living network of friends, researchers, and students working together to care for alpine ecosystems through sport and outdoor activity, while at the same time giving new energy to the village.
ConserMotion is building a healthy lifestyle—for ourselves and for the ecosystem on which we depend.

our mission
is to make nature conservation an active lifestyle — healthy, communal, and inspiring.
Our INSTRUMENTS

SPORT
We use outdoor sport— hiking, trail running, ski mountaineering, snowshoeing — as a way to explore, monitor, and connect with nature.
Every step in the environment becomes a way to observe and protect.

SCIENCE
We combine field research, data collection, and scientific collaboration to understand and care for the alpine ecosystem.
Science guides our actions and helps turn experience into knowledge.
