Workshop "On the trail of wildlife"

Two days of nature, exercise, and discovery to learn to observe the region with new eyes. The workshop "On the trail of wildlife" is the first ConserMotion workshop dedicated to training Citizen Scientists, people who contribute to scientific research through outdoor activities. During the workshop, participants will discover how hiking and outdoor sports can become tools for scientific observation: they will learn to recognize local species, read animal tracks, use digital apps to collect nature data, and monitor research tools such as camera traps and bioacoustic microphones.

The first day will be dedicated to meetings with researchers, an introduction to local biodiversity, and training on scientific instruments. The second day will include a guided excursion in the area, during which participants will put what they have learned into practice by collecting real-world data.
